Post Local Setups

This step lists what is required to run the Appcircle application in the local development environment with an enterprise license and admin rights. Before completing these steps, you need to run appcircle local and create a user via the "Sign Up" step.

Get Enterprise License In Keycloak

  • Login to keycloak using admin / admin using the url: http://localhost:9302/auth/
  • Select appcircle left up side of the ui
  • Select Realm Roles and find your starter roles. (My role name is starter|88d1dfc1-19ef-4183-96b7-510357d3d344)
  • Copy the guid part of your starter role (88d1dfc1-19ef-4183-96b7-510357d3d344)
  • Create a new realm role like following ui by adding enterprise| prefix with your guid.
  • Open attributes of your starter role (from other tab) and copy all attributes into new role (enterprise|guid)
  • Add/update following extra attributes as in starter role:
    • buildConcurrency : 3
    • buildTimeLimitPerBuild : 300
    • endDate : increment startDate +1 after 17xxxx ()
  • Select groups on left menu. (Group means in Organization in appcircle domain.)
  • Click on the group and open Role Mapping
  • Click Assign Role Button
  • Check your new enterprise|guid group and click Assign button.
  • Check your new role is assigned your group
  • Remove starter role from your group
  • Open your group on the left menu and change licenseName atribute with enterprise

Get Admin Rights

  • Click users on left menu
  • Click assign role
  • Click filter by clients and filter roles. Select appcircle-web admin, click assign.
  • Login to the application and check your license.
